I tried all the way to make the design in the simplest form I could. By that, people will understand how simple an art-hearted heart is. It looked not like an artwork any little, isn’t it?

Since this said it all, and you would have known it right away after you saw it and understood it’s a little English trick. But if I have to say anything about this, I’d say: Designers, spend more time on your artworks, take it seriously, don’t be lazy and cursory, before showing it out… You know what the word bastard belongs to, it isn’t your artwork! (Well, except this one, since I chose it for the title, it’s called BastArt!)

Anyway, seriously, I’m all about striving to make mine not called BastArts. (or it is?)

Trang Hạ is a young writer from Vietnam but now working as a reporter in Taiwan. Very fortunately, I got a chance to work with her, and this book cover is the result after a 5-hour-from-midnight-til-morn time. Published in Hanoi on March 5th, 2007.
